I won this coin in an auction listed as an off-center 1999 Lincoln. I always look at the back of any 1992,1998,1999,2000 Cents just to check for WAMS. When I checked the back of this Off-Center I did a double take. I thought it was a WAM but I wasn't positive from the Auctions Pictures....I ended up winning the auction and have been waiting for the coin to arrive. Today I received the coin....here she is....you be the judge.

Here are the pictures that were on the auction...would have have gambled on a WAM?

Yes, that is it. There are quite a few Broadstrikes and Off Centers with the Wide AM. I sold an Off Center a few years ago that I cherry picked for about $2 for $750. I look over all the 1999 Errors for the Wide AM.
Here is the one I found. (I know, crappy macros! Oh Well!)

Would this be worth getting Attributed by PCGS? Is it still a WAM if the AM is not present lol.

A 1916 SLQ is still a 1916 even with the date worn off.

You may have to state WHY it is a WAM since the A isn't visible but yes it came from the WAM rev die so it is a WAM

Great find ...

There are a dedicated set of collectors who enjoy chasing off-center Lincoln Cents ... and for that audience a verified off-center 1999 LMC WAM would be attractive.

Your choice of certification IMHO depends on your intentions for the coin ...

If you plan to sell it TPG certification might help ... for your own collection why spend the money?

@ Cascade ... with all due respect ... appreciate your interest in learning about Lincoln Cent varieties ..

The questions you are asking in this thread IMHO have been addressed multiple times in this sub-forum ... do a search ... and, if answered in this thread, tend to distract the thread focus from the OP original line of inquiry.

Politely suggest that you should start your own thread in this sub-forum with those same questions ... which our experts will likely readily respond to.

I guess it depends how much its worth if I would sell it. If it was worth $50 I would keep it...if it is worth hundreds I might sell or trade. I am trying to finish my MS Lincoln Set...I am getting down to the 1920's-30's so its getting expensive. lol

Anyone have a idea on value? Might be hard to put a value on it as there really isn't anything comparable to go off of.

Jayman931, as the owner you are the only one that can put the ultimate value on it. What are you willing to sell it for?
It is a one of a kind with two major errors. If I owned it, and was inclined to sell, I would ask for more than I would take- just to see how it goes.
