Could you take a look at this please. I Just received it from the mint. The same coin has a retained lamination? I Think? 1 dollar piece.

Help?

Cloth retained?

Ouch! Doesn't look good to me. Not cloth. Probably junk on the planchet struck into the coin or on the coin after strike. Nothing desirable.

I'd send them back if possible.

Proof coins have the etched surface on the devices and and polished in the fields. Thus they look that way. I prefer the 1960-1964 proof cents best because of the way they look.

The center one toned yellow gold like in the cello. It looks so nice in hand.

They are all, 5 sets, being replaced. I wanted to cry when I started looking at them.
Along with the strike thru's there were scratches on the faces, looked like 2 were dropped on there edges, capsules not closed and a few other problems.

You have 7 days to return your items.

I'm VERY Glad people got nice coins. Just wish I was one of them.

Looking forward to the replacements though.
