I notice in ebay a guy selling $100 star notes in sequential order. Is it really possibly to have six sequential $100 bills with all being star notes?

because bills are made in sheets and quickly it is hard for a one off error on one bill. There are tons of sheets of sequential star notes.

All current star notes are sequential. I don't understand the basis of your question.

Yes, it is possible to have sequential star notes.

The quote below explains better than I ever could http://mycurrencycollection.com/ref.../star-notes/

Quote:

Regular Notes These star notes are more common than sheet notes - the are printed in greater quantity. They are printed, cut, and put into straps, just like regular currency. If a strap of cut notes are found to have a damaged/misprinted note, the strap is destroyed and replaced with a strap of these star notes. This makes it possible to find multiple of these star notes at a time.

Sheet Notes These are the rarer of the two types of star notes. They tend to be printed in quantities of 640,000 notes or less. If a sheet of damaged/misprinted notes are discovered before the cutting process, it is replaced with a sheet of stars. This means it is extremely unlikely to find more than two of these notes at a time.

What I mean is having six in a row I used to think they would have one bad bill at a time. But if a whole sheet is bad it kinda makes sense.

All star notes are sequential. No different than any other notes.

Banks get straps of brand new notes all the time and many people ask for new notes when they go to the bank.

The odds against assembling a set of six sequentially-numbered $100 star notes are astronomical. But pulling six-in-a-row out of a strap straight from the BEP is common, which is probably what happened here.

I work at a grocery store and we often order packs of small bills for reasons of making change. For several weeks my cash drawers started out with brand new $5 star notes (we must have gotten a full strap of star notes.) So yeah, it definitely happens (oh how I wish I could have gotten that $5 strap).
