Perhaps one of the worst multiple error coins I have found. 1942 dime exhibiting the following conditions:
1)die cracks through 10 cents, extending into water
2)die cracks under king
3)die cracks through Georgivs
4)die cracks above ship "N"
5)rotated die 15 degrees

These older dimes are terrible. I don't believe anything is added to the value of the coin itself, but it sure is fun finding them.

very nice...if you feel up to the task you could fill a couple binders with just Canadian war time die cracks of any denomination.

I noticed at the Coins and Canada site that they list coins with cracks. I was thinking that this was pretty interesting.

Nice dime Wasser.

Agreed! I was so excited when I got a bunch of 47-ML dimes, even more so when I found some were rotated dies!

it seems like the 10 cents area gets lots of die cracking.

Nice, really like the crack through the 10 CENTS, the varieties from the war year coins add so much character to the coins. The obverse crack at the truncation has been referred to as a 'neck snake'. When I can't find any 50 cents with varieties I will look at other denominations from the 40s for cracks and clashes.
If the mint wants to create a renewed interest in circulating coins they could always lower their quality control again to increase major die cracks.
The 47 maple leaf dimes are also interesting because of the orientation of the ML, eg. close to the 7, touching the 7, hi ML, low ML.

That is because the same maple leaf hand punch was used for all denominations. JHax can probably elaborate on this.
