Doubled die. Use an arrow or describe it better for others. I just happened to know where to look.

Eddio - your specimen appears to be more significant than mine. Better grade and better definition on the doubling should mean better value. I don't have much experience with Canadian coinage so I can't pin a number to it. But maybe in the $7-11 range? A complete guess on my part.
Nice coin!

Michaellisa - I can't say for sure but maybe. I note that many of the doubled varieties at the C in C site are for machine doubled coins. Since my specimen and Eddio's are actual doubled dies I'd guess they are modestly more significant. We need one of our Canadian forum experts to chime in or perhaps Ken is lurking about to comment They may have a better idea regarding significance and value. Good luck flipping those coins!

Michaelisa - Rocky has you pointed to the best source of information here at CCF. My shot here was taken with 20X setting on my AmScope (about $150) and using my iPhone through one of the eyepieces. I take the shot and then crop it on my phone before sending it to my computer for final editing. Then use the Optimization tool here to reduce the file size. Good luck!!

Pennyman - Thanks! A nice collection of links and pic's. Minor DDs like these collect a small premium amongst the Lincoln Cents, but I'm not aware of a similar Canadian site with 'guestimated' values. Do you have another rabbit up your sleeve?

No sorry Rackster no more rabbits off hand..I'm not sure where to find these values other than watching various auctions, scouting ebay and asking here.

Thanks pennyman - that's about all I came up with...which isn't a bad thing. ebay captures the current/past values collectors are willing to pay but more work to develop the range in value relative to the grade.
