Going through my latest acquisitions and came across this dime. I was like cool, I only have one other 1938 dime. I flipped it over and it looks like the obverse was damaged post-production. But, checking it with a 10x shows die cracking that extends onto the rim. I'm not 100% that this is a lamination issue. Any insight into what caused this section to be (appears to be) ripped away from the coin? Thanks in advance!
