I just picked these up today at J&M in Vancouver. I thought I would share with all you clipaholics out there.

The one on the right with the major clip also has a small clip and a smaller one almost opposite each other. You can see the Blakesley effect beside each small clip especially on the reverse.

The one on the left is a more obvious triple clip.

one day you should just post a shot of all your errors laid out....you would probably make a couple people here including me choke on their drool, lol.

They were $15 each. They threw in a 1940 5 cent with a rim clip :)

Yes, there would be a lot of errors lined up but there are some very impressive collections amongst the regulars here on CCF.

Here is the 1940 rim clip. This one has had a rough life it seems.

now even with the 2 triple clips that 1940 is a true prize IMO.

any way and thanks for posting?

hello

I wonder?

The corners of the cut are square and the arc off the cercle is incorrect.

For a clip this large I expect that the clip will get somewhat distorted in shape from its "normal" curvature.

I think I can see proper weakening of details on the coin's reverse.

And there is most definitely a Blakesley effect opposite the clip. I have other major clips like this one that show a slight deformation of the curvature of the clip. They also have less weakening around the area near the clip.

yes, id imagine the clip would be distorted from the striking pressure.

Slurexe97, you're in Indonesia?!

Yes, came back home for the Summer

Unfortunately that means I'll be missing the spring Expo.
