Since there's a fs# assign on the coin do you think it will equal or go pass the value of the State Quarters of that year?

You mean this? Some think it's a doubled die. I'm yet to be convinced but it is a nice variety.

I'm thinking this is a form of die clash/polishing in that area. It is too small to be die edge hitting it like a die dent. You can see under the nose that area has been polished out. SO a clash may have deformed the ear area as well.

As far as doubled die, nothing appears to be doubled from the hub to make it a doubled die die. So I'm leaning towards die damage.

Coop, I had it listed as a clash but overlays just don't seem to work for that or a DD. It's a neat variety though.

Yes this is the coin in question. I have one that's uncircated condition+ what should I do with it cause I really want to get a microscope. Would a coin shop buy it from me? Or does it have to be slabbed?
