Thoughts on this? Assuming was done by hand but if so so, was done very well. Thanks!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

I get a chance to show my $10 face value 2007-P John Adams Presidential dollar!

I'll finally admit, I stamped this into the coin while experimenting with "punch shoulder depth effects."

Actually coins marked like this have been used as claim tokens in metal detector competitions.

Coop,
Funny thing is that another guy and I laughed about the gold plated 1883 V nickels and figured I could go into mass production and pass these as the new $10 "golden" dollars! We even laughed about adding another zero and making them $100 coins.

I stamped about a dozen of them here and there and everywhere just testing them for shoulder outlines to see how deep I would have to go. I had thousands of the dollars at work with me searching for Smooth Edge and Double Edgers so they became prey.

So now you know what I did at work! It's called QC!

Looks like now they need to put "ONE DOLLAR" on the reverse design. If an honest person could think of that, what would prevent a counterfeiter from doing this?

Holy heck guys, I've been going through tin tubs full of quarters (mostly state, ive rolled $350 so far) from my S&O Collection this morning and look what I found, a 72 counterstamped with a C! This collection has something to add for almost ANY group thread. I'm keeping 8t because it's my first initial! How strange and cool is that. And a love token from it had my full initials!? Sure some could say coincidence or I'm looking too much into it but Its so hard to believe that fate has no hand in all of this

Here is another one I made while experimenting with punch shoulder depth effects in 2007. I made progress with this one.

So, would anybody buy this? If I were to list it on ebay? Or,...not worth my time? Thanks! Very impressive Ken!

Some do collect these. But with a lettering punch kit you could make these. But I would view it as a damaged coin. But who knows on ebay?
