RUMOR IS CONFIRMED!

There will be another round of Superman coins coming this summer. You can start pre-ordering them as soon as in June.

RCM will release the second round of Superman coin series featuring the Iconic Superman Comic Book Covers.

I cannot tell where I saw them or even publicly show the print designs of the silver coins, because they are still under embargo, but what I can tell you is that which comic book covers these were inspired by so that you can search the covers if you are familiar with and use your own imagination.

Superman Unchained #2 - 2013

Superman #28 - 2014

Action Comics #1 - 2011

These three coins will be of the same size as last year's 1 oz silver coin, for the same price at $109.95, same face value of $20 dollars, cheap cardboard cases are the same by the way . But there appears to be no 1/2 oz and 3/4 oz this year, so you guys Superman fans have to raise your budget.

So far, there is no confirmed information about the existence of 14-kt gold coin and design, neither for the $20 for $20 silver coin.

That's about it, sorry guys, can't tell you more for now.

VanCanCollections, thank you so much for the info!

This is the best way to describe and provide details of the embargo'ed release

I believe, many collectors - Superman fans already waiting to get these....

Too bad, they left idea of acrylic case.

Looks like, when all the Niue stuff will collect dust without demand, the Superman coins by RCM will always sought by generations of collectors.

The designs look great, especially Superman #28.

Why not, Northerncoins?

Yes, the theme isn't fresh, no platinum coin, but since this the standalone (additional release) and not instead of other coins, so let it be.

See...RCM pumped out bunch of LT coins, but no 70-th Anniversary VE Day (looks like they plan it for 2020 as last in the WWII series)...
So addition of the Superman not harmful

Silveroid, just FYI, there will be a 1 oz silver coin for $109.95 commemorating 70th anniversary of Second World War.

What's more interesting is that, this coin will come with a HUMONGOUS box/case, modelling a WWII battle field...think about those Army Men Toys...

Again, I am not allowed to post any pictures publicly, sorry.

Well the 2013 superman coins were good, why ruin it with making more?

If I wanted to collect comics then I would collect comics, but I don't, I collect coins! I don't want a bunch of comic book covers on my coins.

Oh well to each their own, if you like them then buy them, eh I will pass yet again on the "More" Superman Coins for profit thing.

Brian, sorry, no more information available for the WWII coin yet. Possibly for mintage of 7,500 ~ 10,000, provided the price of $109.95 as a 1 oz silver coin.

The reverse design is featuring likely a M4 Sherman tank with two infantry soldiers walking alongside. The case is mimicking an ammo box in dark green.

So this one could be just one of the WWII series, and not Victory related.

But interesting will be to see.

Thanks for info VanCan;
The wow factor is missing for moi...especially if its more covers...and especially IF the 3 coins you refer to will consist of the New 52 Superman with very recent covers...
I'd be more interested if there was more vintage Superman...

If Superman returns in July...what if any major splash can we expect in the month of September from the RCM...given September tends to be the big splash month of the year of late.

Looney came out in May -
Superman in July
September?

So, the 2015 Gold Superman coin confirmed by members of other forum.

Sounds to be promising coin - people already pre-ordering it.

The series - Gold Superman coins - became one of the expensive ones (like glass creatures), that collectors desire to see in their display.

The coin not on the ebay yet, but looks like all 1500 of the 2014 edition listed and sells more or less near the issue - the dealers earn couple of hundreds, and re-sellers - couple of dollars.

Lets see

"promising" means desired and holds a value...no necessary immediately raising up.

Like people said - not for every coin "works" formula of 14kt gold 1500 mintage. Buggs Bunny and his friends are too expensive, for just to keep nice memories, but the Superman - more recognizable brand.
