5D is triple-clashed so hard the obverse die broke during the clash, and is primarily known for that die break in the rear of the cap. The coin here is barely clashed at all.
The die cracks, however, definitely identify it as a member of the VAM-5 family, as does the clearly-visible curved die scratch in the eagle's left wing. I'm going to call it the (relatively) unclashed 5B. The dash under the 8 was known to have been polished out of the die by this point.
