Bilbo Pillar of the Community United States 812 Posts	Posted 12/22/2007 1:54 pm Welcome to the forum! It stands for Felix Schlag. He was the designer of the Jefferson nickel when it started in 1938. Though the obverse has now changed, his reverse design is still used. Report this Post to the Staff
