I have my doubts and I am looking for any opinions on its authenticity, approximate grade, and variety type? Any help is greatly appreciated... Just a heads up this was in TPG plastic with numbers that checked out for my friend. I hated to have to tell him he had been had. ' sad to say, we live in a day where counterfeiters are producing fake coins in fake slabs using real certification numbers so that there are no red alarms unless you are smart enough to trust the coin and not the plastic. g048406 Pillar of the Community 861 Posts	Posted 05/15/2015 12:39 am Coin was minted in China by J-Man owner of "The Big Tree Coin Factory". Susan Headly discovered this fake 5+ years ago. The giveaways are the roughness behind Lady Liberty on the obverse and the cut in the 4th vertical stripe and a couple of cuts, in the same location, on the horizontal lines on the reverse shield.
