From my meager U.S. Colonial collection. This is a "Voce Populi" copper with "P" before bust. It has decent detail, but has dark grainy patina. It weighs 6.6 grams. Does it look genuine, and if so what would be a net grade?

Nice copper! I don't know anything about varieties of these things. As far as sharpness I'll give the coin a grade of VF-20. I would net grade it at F-12 for the porosity. All around excellent coin.

Definitely a Ha'Penny. Breen 232/Zelinka 15-N. Beautiful! I like it at high VF/XF TPG'd. An unusual piece made in Ireland. Likely never circulated as a U.S. issue.....was not imagined as a "colonial" until Mr. Breen decided to include it in 1954.

All were dated 1760. Nobody really know why some have a P obverse, and some don't.
Yes, it has verdigris, but I'm still at VF35 sharpness.
Nice coin.

amida17---Would that also apply to the St. Patrick farthing & halfpenny or the Wood's hibernia coppers?

Some, not all, St. Patricks definitely circulated in West Jersey because of Mark Newby who brought them with him from Ireland. He subsequently became a member of Legislature and they were deemed "current pay" for small transactions. There is little to no evidence the Woods pieces circulated in the U.S. BTW check out the ND site V linked.....myriad info. there.
