I was looking through my closet the other day when I found a little plastic cheap safe. I asked my husband about it and he told me it was a few of the coins he got as a child when his father passed away. Being the curious person I am, I decided to google a couple coins real quick to see what they were. I could NOT have made a better decision!
I've been reading about every one of these coins for the last 46 hours straight, save 3 hours for a quick nap. My husband had no idea they had any value! His father collected error coins, and was apparently pretty good at it! You'll have to bear with, I'm sure I'm bound to ask a couple really stupid questions. But these coins are the coolest things I have ever seen and they have been right in front of me this whole time! I'm sure I will learn a lot in the countless hours I'll undoubtedly end up spending on this forum. :)

Welcome to the community, Great hobby to embark upon. No such thing as stupid questions around here. The only stupid questions are those unasked.

Rule 1 - Do NOT clean with them. Handle only by the edges. Rule 2 - Ask away

I'd have to post pictures! I don't think I could even explain what I am trying to explain using words. It doesn't help that my brain is about to explode from all this new information. Haha.

to CCF! I must admit I'm a tad envious. I doubt there is a member here that wouldn't enjoy finding an unknown safe in their house packed with coins!
