Hi Everyone. I joined today and started by posting a coin I purchased in 2008 - touted to be a "rare" Kushan Kanishka. I wanted help in verifying what it is and grading it before I sell it.
I have mostly Silver Eagles, a few Elizabeth I silver - groats or half-groats, one Charles II copper, a few unremarkable Romans, and my pride and joy, an exceptional Thrace Mesembria silver diabol, Corinthian Helmet Facing / META wheel.
I know very little about coins, have not bought any for several years, will probably be selling most of what I have. But it is hard to stop looking around your community and learning more.

Thanks for the Welcomes! I will come back and read all the links. That is a great name, jdiablo30. My coin is in a lockbox. I will get it out and send a photo if I can't find my old photos. I could not find my coin file yesterday in backups and am hoping it is on an old laptop. Thanks again all - NumisRob, jbuck, and CopperCastle.
