I'm 14 and have collected since the age of 7, but have never roll hunted before. I've heard the legends of hunters going to small rural banks and leaving with boxes of Franklins, etc., including some from my state. Does anyone know of any banks in the area that might turn up something decent, or should I just find some little town in Eastern WA to search?

I think I know where it is, although I've never been there. Is there a good bank there?

I am not aware if there is a bank there and if there is it might or might not have what your looking for but there is something else there, 2 big fountains. I got kicked out but if you could ask them or contact which ever charity that empty's them, from the amount of coins they seem to have in them I think you would do quite well. Over in Canada there is a fountain at a mall I go to that has a glass bottom so all the coins that get thrown in need to be emptied when the fountain isn't really full or they will just fall right through from the weight. The fountains at the Alderwood mall are solid on the bottom and when I go there the coins are actually piled and you cant see the bottom of the fountain sometimes. The kinds of things you could find in there are probably just nuts, maybe they just wait longer to empty it.

I don't go to banks in WA so I wouldn't know about them but those fountains... Man! Good luck.

I should add that when I got kicked out, it was because I didn't do what I told you to do contacting them and asking the charity and what not, I just went up to it and started looking for old coins.

Normic67, please warn me before I take a drink next time. I nearly sprayed my water all over my keyboard and monitor! I can just imagine you in waders splashing through a fountain...

Tempting, but I think I'll stick with banks, stores, and pretty much everything except fountains.
