I don't think there's one listed. I can't find any Md on this coin unless it's the MM.What do you think?

I hate to say it, but I don't know. I see the split serif but that is it. It might be a damaged punch.

It looks better at home. Is a microscope better than a camera? Do microscopes take pictures?

There are electronic lenses that can take pictures but it is easy to take a pic through a microscopes lens. Just focus the coin under the microscope and take the pic.

A closer image might show us more. But even the slightest die movement during the strike alter the shape of a device. (sometimes it is just one device that is affected)
A 1984-D is the last RPM posted in the Jefferson nickel series by CONECA.

Well no one is jumping up and down calling it a discovery. Quite frankly, the pictures seem to indicate md. I am beginning to realize the camera has a better eye than I.
