Didn't find a single thing. I still had a lot of fun, and I also learned a lot.

What do you think is the longest you've spent looking with no results? I'm wondering if, as a cashier who sees quite a bit of coinage, I shouldn't be expecting to see anything interesting on a weekly basis.

I just got 2 Franklin halves ('63D and 48) from the register at work yesterday! But other than that there really hasn't been much. Just the occasional wheat or old nickel.

Usually a guy comes in with Presidential dollar coins, but he has t been in a while. I wish I would have known more about them when I was getting 5 a day!

Even as a cashier, don't expect to find cool stuff all the time. I've been a bank teller for over a year and a half, and you don't find cool stuff as often as you'd think. The only thing I'd say I found on a weekly basis would be wheat cents. But silver I could go months at a time without seeing silver. And other times I'd get multiple silver coins in a week. You just never know.

That is the right attitude.

Enjoy the journey.
