I have seen a few of these pennies that almost look as if someone intentionally outlined some of the lettering. This one has it on the date, mint mark and building in addition to the lettering. Thoughts?

That is split plating. Happens sometimes on Zincolns. Most often on the mint mark, but other times on the outside edges of devices.
