I know I ask alot of question, probably dumb ones too, but I'm new at this. :-P so please bare with me. Thanks. Ok so this is a 1999 Pennsylvania State Quarter, looks like a D on the P in "Pennsylvania".

It appears to be post mint damage as the same mark appears on the E.

If the line is raised then I'd say it's a Cud of some sort. If it's an indent then it's either post mint damage or a worn die
