You're probably right Kid, considering the week I've had. It might be though, I don't think md on other places rules it out completely.

I haven't got that microscope yet, doesn't it look like a tilted D? I will check the listings for a match.

I agree. It does look like 1964-D RPM-001 from the CONECA listings.

Sorry, I've seen the term RPM everywhere on this forum and am not quite sure what it stands for. I'm assuming M is for mintmark and maybe D for doubled, but what about the R?

On my signature line there is a link to the DDO and DDR for Jefferson nickels. Very helpful to identify them. Sometimes even with great help, you still can't find what you have.
