Ya, I was thinking that too. Also, that "crush all smokes dead" today would most likely be banned as tobacco advertising to children

Does anyone here know how much fires and injuries pop up from fireworks around July 4th? In Canada fireworks are mostly banned for that exact reason, we are just apparently to stupid to enjoy fireworks safely and if the USA is able to have them not only legal but also a minimal amount of accidents around that holiday then that's just sad.
My mom goes down to WA state and buys me fireworks and then goes back up into Canada where you cant get any, and then we light them and enjoy them safely while at the same time... There illegal.
Im a 19 year old who doesn't misuse them because that is what made them illegal in Canada,(and a whole bunch of other reasons).

I wish they banned them in my state but they did the reverse. Now they can pretty much shoot whatever they want whenever besides noise ordinances. I'm not a old whippersnapper but it gets really bad. It's three solid months of boys shooting them off every night in the street now. The entire summer vacation.

Wow, I need to move to Indiana. I just hope they use them properly. Why would they make something that is so misused legal, I love fireworks and use them right and am extremely frustrated that I cant enjoy them because of "other people"... Which is exactly why I enjoy them anyway and don't care about the so called "law". I can see where you and most other fireworks haters are coming from though, they scare pets and wildlife and keep you up at night. All they need to do is be responsible with them and go in at like 9:00 or something. But the united states is a free country isn't it, not Canada.

Just for reference, this is what Smokey THE Bear looks like... RIP Jackie Gleason, one of the true comic greats.
