1997 P 50c. Type Of Die Deterioration? Same On 2 Coins

I found these two halves in the same roll. Is this a form of Die Deterioration? In front and in back of the bust there seems to be a different texture than the rest of the fields.

It looks like it was struck through a light layer of grease in those shiny spots.

Ok, thank you very much. I guess these two were struck really close to each other and the grease that was stuck to the die gave the same impression as the last one.

If you take a closer look you will see that it is very similar but different. This is grease that is migrating along the face of the coin. In time it will disappear. I've seen as many as 40 coins (or so) come out of a Mint bag for a State Quarter where I was held out a handful and told to shoot whatever one I wanted. They were all similar but since there were about 40 there differences from one to another could be great or very close.

My guess is somebody cashed in a roll (or more) and you got two of the pieces from that roll.
