The notch at the bottom of the R looks like PMD and the rest looks like Strike Doubling to me.

The "notched" letters in liberty on some coins are an indication of doubling, they can be at the bottoms going uphill or down or even at the tops, but I don't think they apply to the letters west of the erty. I am trusting my memory when I say that- so I could be wrong. Either way, I still don't think this is the coin you're looking for. The good news, Slamnbass, is it puts you one coin closer to it. I'm overdue for a DD also. I did find a RPM yesterday though. Maybe two, I posted them yesterday two 64 D nickels.

Looks like circulation and MD has altered this coin. Nothing showing hub doubling. Just altered devices.
