1953 50c NSF SD Pre-Cud Die Crack Obverse Zoell FL455 I saw the 1943 in a previous post and had to pull this coin and shoot it. It was minted ten years later yet so similar to the 1943. I offered this one for sale on my price list for years at $15 with no bites so I put it into my collection. Glad I did. I like it. Edited by koinpro 05/23/2015 11:09 pm

I love it! it is just so prominent and definitely unexpected on a lizzie. wish I knew about it when it was for sale I would buy these for $15 all day, heck I would've paid $30 all day! yup, it seems Rob has a good luck when it comes to weeding out cool stuff, here is the thread Mr. Potter is referring to https://goccf.com/t/230435#1922687Mr. Potter, I think I know the answer but will you be attending torex?

I have a 1943 tombac Cud I wanted to show you, I will bring it to torex if I can dig it out in time to show it to people and then send it to you if you would like.

Nice one, all the 53 die cracks I've seen are on the reverse.

"come to Coin Expo instead"
do you mind me asking when and where that happens? I have never been and don't recall hearing about it.

At this upcoming show, rumours are abound that CCF member Zonad will make an appearance...
