How badly did I get burned on this one? I spent $8.50 on her, including shipping. I'm thinking VF-30?

Yeah the rim hits are a bit distracting, but for $8.50, not burned.

I think you did fine, paid just about what you would expect.

A true VF30 coin with no problems would be more in the $15
range.

Also .. in my experience ... large size pictures show
the problems more .. than the coin looks in hand.

This would fill a hole in a album just right.

You did OK, not burned but not a epic find. Rim hits and dings were details that coin but for 8.50 ok.

Throw it in an album and a week from now you'll have forgotten all about the rim hits.

The rim hits don't bother me one bit; just honest circulation wear. You have a very nice Barber dime there IMHO!
Rest in Peace

Ok for $8.50., Child, a little bit of good honest advice from an old timer; try to stick with PROBLEM FREE coins. yes it may cost you a few dollars more. but you'll be happy you did when you get older and more into real nice coins.
Do what makes you happy , but also think about your future in coin collecting.

Alright, thanks for your input. I had some money and I had never bid on e-bay before, so I got a little too hasty and jumped on it. Well, its by best Barber dime and it's a better deal then what they have at my pawn shop!

Ooooooh, for your first bid on ebay you did great

Easy to make big rookie mistakes, but not on this one. Inexpensive learning.
