The 1962 does appear to be a proof nickel. How can I tell? Note the squared rims on the coin.

The Variety Vista site doesn't list a different design on that series. Seems odd. But no listing.

Wiles must still be working on the nickels as there are changes. The two reverse types for 1982 come to mind. Front page story in Numismatic News and then largely forgotten by the masses. I guess the 1982 No P dimes took the spotlight.
