Good Day All , I am just being curious here but does anyone know of any RCM NCLT error coins that exist or does the mint really do a complete check to make sure there are no errors ? Any examples that someone could post ? Thanks .

Quote: That was a die clash '76 Olympic coin I believe Silveroid. You right, SilverDon Amazing error....in my understanding was, that the RCM people inspect the coins, specially in that period, but it made through to the customers.

I have clipped coins from Proof-like and Specimen sets. I have off-centres from proof-like sets, and rim fins from proof struck coins. Strike throughs do occur, and off-centre twoonies as well.... the errors are scare, but do happen.

Also the 2007 specimen 10-cent mule, which is much scarcer than the 1999 twoonie mule...

SPP, those 2 1975 pennies with the funky rims, what is this called? I have seen this in a few pennies I have gone through, unfortunately none in as good a condition as your examples.
Are these worth much?

Regarding the 1975 1-cent coins: coin on the left is a specimen strike on a noticeably thicker (and heavier) planchet (I don't think it is a foreign planchet, but it is prior to the Winnipeg plant opening). Coin on the right is a normal specimen cent.
