Welcome to CCF! This looks like a normal Jefferson nickel to me. Could you please specify where on the coin you are referring to an error? Could you please describe the error? That would help to narrow down pick up points for members here.

If you could crop out the huge amount of background, we might be able to see the coin.

I'm working on getting a better image. I was wondering if this was some sort of die related error where some of the numbers were flat and the date not not having uniform wear. I'm totally new to this.

I don't think it's a mint error.

I think I see some damage and that leads me to believe that the flattened 6 is just wear/damage from some slot machine or something.

to CCF.Need better pics but I see damage on IN G also so I am thinking coin counting/wrapping machine damage.

I think the date is actually upside down. It reads 1961, when right-side up would be 1961.
