I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here it goes. A neighbor of mine is moving and gave me 2 sets of 2003 Hockey All-Star Legends Limited Edition Stamps, Medallions and Puck Set. He said if I did not want them, he was going to throw them away. The boxes have a price of $89.99. My question is are these sets really worth that?

If it is these then about $50 CA depending on condition etc, a few sold at that price looking at ebay sold listings.

Hockey-All-Stars

Will add, the mintage was 10k but maybe only 1300 or so were actually sold, not sure though.

Issue Price: $89.99

In 2003, the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post jointly issued this superb collector set paying tribute to six NHL hockey All-Star legends: Raymond Bourque, Frank Mahovlich, Mike Bossy, Stan Mikita and Bill Durnan. The impressive outer box is embossed with the NHL / All-Stars logo, and opens up to showcase a collection of six Royal Canadian Mint medallions featuring these six players, a special collector sheet of mint condition 48 cent stamps, an official NHL All-stars puck, a silver wafer certificate showing the number in the limited edition of 10,000, and a souvenir booklet.

Quantity available: approx 1,300

That is the set. I have no idea what to do with them other than throw them in a closet. I am not a hockey fan but the price was right
