So I needed this one for my album. I took a gamble, hoping the seller's images were showing the coin poorly. It looks VG8/10 from the rims, but I'll post better images once it's in hand. I think a little Verdi-care will be in order too! 111676131176What do you think, how'd I do? Edited by matttheriley 05/28/2015 11:55 am

Seems like a good price if you gotta fill a space. I've had mixed results with Verdi-Care, but the verdigris doesn't seem too bad on this Indian, so I hope you get good results. Looking forward to seeing an in-hand photo.

VG-8 As you said the rims are full. If nothing else Verdi-Care will darken the corrosion on the reverse and possibly make it more attractive.

I think once I give it an acetone dip, a little verdi-care treatment and take pictures with good light and an imaging device other than a potato, the results will be pleasing, I HOPE...

Yeah , I'll go VG-8 but that gouge between America and the date would be a deal killer for me. tough date, good filler.

It's Good in my opinion. But nice coin for a filler. Jeff

It's a nice coin, I like it. Are those scans? Hard for me to tell. Maybe just go with the Verdicare. I've had some mixed results with copper in acetone lately. I bathed a large cent, and it came out green. I'm sure it was the coin's fault and not the acetone, don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of acetone. The green was so thick, it flaked off the coin like paint chipping, and the patina came with it. I'm selective now on copper and acetone.

VG requires that some letters in LIBERTY show, do they, I can't see them. Jeff

Not a bad coin Matt but, I don't like the scratch on the obverse but, other than that, VG8

Looking at the VG08 example on PCGS photograde, it doesn't have any LIBERTY showing...
