Just bought this as an 1827. Seller's pictures. Don't have the coin in hand yet. This looks like 1827/6. The curve of the 6 can clearly be seen on the left of the 7 or am I imagining it? Also doubling of the first star on left.

It is one of 3 varieties of 27/6. Need an image of the reverse to nail it down.

Thanks noD. It's got those die cracks starting at the U and running up through the lettering and and down through the leaves and denomination. O-101 by my guess. This Overton attributing is kind of addicting. Just wanted to be sure that it was the overdate.

Overpaying for it with buyers remorse is dismal.

Getting a deal for it and also loving it is double bang for the buck.

I can't wait to see your reaction once the coin arrives.

Keep us posted.
