I hope this info will be useful or at least entertaining to some :) Just sharing info :)
So ... Last year Slovenia issued a commerative coin in honor of 600th anniversiry of coronation of Barbara of Celje (as wife of Holy Roman emperor Sigismund of Luxemburg).
As those coins started to circulate I found one with interestng die break on the scepter. And then on another coin ... And then another. As I went to a coin shop to buy an UNC coin - well, there it was another. It seems that a lot of those coins (total mintage of 1.000.000)have those kinds of error. So far I have found 5 of those coins all with various degree of the scepter die break, but I guess there are many others still around.
So far I've only scanned two of those coins - here are the pictures.

Coin #1

Very interesting.

It seems that the second coin is from an earlier die state and the die was more damaged by the time the first coin was made.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing :)
I'll really have to bring other 3 coins tomorrow to work and scan them. I'll upload them here.
Anyway, the Slovenia coins are minted in Dutch mint, which, or so I was told, is not considered a high qualliy mint. What is also interesting is the total lack of any info about this error. No-one seems to have noticed it so far :/

So here are all 5 error coins. Scans can be pretty ugly, and I did them quick, because I'm using scanner at work, but the errors are easy to spot.

It doesn't surprise me that there isn't much information about this die gouge on this coin. A lot of people don't consider this to be an error because it is just the result of a die that was used too long. Your coins may be seen as not as good as the coins that came from an earlier die state.

What makes your coins interesting is that you have several of them.

You could be the first to write about it by blogging about it and posting your pics.

Yes, and who knows how many more are still out there :)
Interesting that you mentioned bloggig, I have several other Euro related topics I want to write about (if an/or when time will allow) mainly to share info, because much of Euro informations online are outdated or not updated ... But there's a lot of interesting things going on in circulation if you take the time and study coin by coin :)
