I was at a local major bullion dealer on Monday. They were paying 35 cents over spot for silver 1 oz bars and rounds. Saw several hundred of these being brought in for sale during the short time I was there. Wondering if they have a major buy order for a customer they are trying to fill.

To be competitive, dealers will pay over spot to maintain inventory. Paying over spot also keeps stuff coming through the front doors.

There is nothing like having nothing in inventory.
