Sydney, Australia was the only other mint in the Empire making sovereigns in 1869, and those had the unique "Sydney Mint" design. dgbisset New Member United Kingdom 9 Posts	Posted 06/08/2015 07:28 am 1869 London Sovereign is a common date. Mintage was 6,441,322. I don't know of records for each die no. but die numbers are known from 1 to 76. Report this Post to the Staff
