Interesting piece. I haven't had time to examin it further but there appears to be a few other minor die cracks in different places.

That would be a cracked or flawed planchet. That means it was there before the coin was struck. A die crack would show as a raised line or crack that would have been struck into the coin.

That is one beautiful coin. very nice find!!

Thanks. Yes I understand the defective planchet. The are <Bonus> haha raised lines on other parts of the coin. I'll try to add some photos later this week.
