1987 Lincoln - Offset Rim(?)

I found this while looking through a bin of old pocket change.
I'm not really sure what to call it, but it appears as if another, not so fully formed, rim appears from the bottom of Lincoln's back to the edge of the rim found to the right of "1987."

I believe this to be a form of Die Deterioration where the dies start to misshape the other one because of the force between the 2 dies and the planchet.
