Can you guys help me Id this coin I found in a dealers foreign coin box. One side has super nice toning but the back not so nice.

A struck Guang Xu Tong Bao. These were struck with the first mechanical coin presses ever brought to China and are regarded as the first die-struck coins of China. However, These are very common, and this one would not be worth much more than $0.50.

That's interesting. I was thinking it was a lot different then my other cash coins. I paid like 5 for a $1as a lot from the foreign junk box so figured it wasn't too valuable.

Second image is inverted, incidentally. I'd add that it was struck at the Kwangtung mint.
