I recently purchased a lot at a coin auction and in the lot came some proof coins with spots of verdigris on them. I was just curious if there was a way to remove it safely with out severely damaging there finishes. Thanks.

I sincerely doubt that it's verdigris on a Proof coin; more likely PVC plasticizer intrusion from improper storage. In either case - verdigris or PVC - the damage can be halted but not undone.

There is much we can suggest to help, but pics will go a long way towards getting you clearer advice. For the moment, research the many conversations we've had here regarding the use of acetone, because that will be your first step once we've identified the actual problem.

Just for future reference, that's not verdigris. Verdigris is, by definition, green. (The word derives from the French words for "green of Greece")

What we've got here looks like plain old "corrosion". And the answer is still "no"; these coins are damaged and they can't become "dis-damaged".
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
