I do not see a clip. I see PMD but that is my opinion. Unless that is how partial clips work.

A question to asked is: How could you make the rim look like that on the reverse, unless it was an incomplete planchet? If you used a cutter, the area I mentioned would be crisp and not tapered in on the rim above "MER".
