Legend is auctioning off some of the most beautiful ultra high grade Morgan dollars, I've ever seen, and I say that without reservation - I've seen a lot of Morgan dollars in my time. Download the catalog here; http://www.flipdocs.com/showbook.as...15766_892254The first lot is an 1878-P 8TF graded PCGS MS67 CAC, followed by a slew of 1878's in MS66+ then it gets better with an 1879-S in PCGS MS68 ex-Jack Lee, an 1880-S in PCGS MS68+, one of the most lustrous 1889-O's I've seen in PCGS MS66 CAC. How about a 1891-CC in PCGS MS68PL? Incredible with 8" mirrors! Lots of Jack Lee coins some Eliasberg and others, viewing these Morgans is not to be missed! Around lot #80 the psychedelic colored toners start up. Can't wait to see what kind of prices they will bring. Should be crazy expensive, and way more than I can spend "Buy the Book Before You Buy the Coin" - Aaron R. Feldman - "And read it" - Me 2013! Legend always puts together outstanding auctions, and this is absolutely no exception.

Your link is to the front page of the catalogue. Which lot number are you looking at?

The catalog is just as juicy if you start at the end and work backward through the non-Morgan stuff.

I got to page 79, and these coins are just incredible! I noticed there were plenty of MS-68's and MS-68+'s, with some PL, but I haven't seen a single MS-69 so far. Do those even exist? Looking through, I was quite surprised to see two coins so far whose price estimates I could actually afford- an 1887 Morgan (MS-67), est. $1,500, and an 1874-S Trade $ (MS-62), est. $1,000. However, these would take about a half and a third of my savings, respectively, at those prices!

6 of the MS69's, including the PL, are 1880-S. Two more are 1881-S. And then there's The Morgan, the absolutely ridiculous Jack Lee 1896-S which really shouldn't exist but does, two grades higher than the next nearest competition.

Wow, I'm now seeing some incredible Monster Toners in the MS-64/65 range for under $1K!
