Last coin.

The-26-Days-Of-Half-Cents!

My personal problem with a new topic is that I keep recycling images.
I have very few whole sets (the just completed Half Cents) is about it for me in the 19th century.
And I don't image my 20th century sets.
If we haven't done Classic Head Half Dimes I think I can do that.
But that's about it.

Ah ha!
Just noticed Half Dimes are next.

Last year! 1857 MS-63RB PCGS:

FYI, the second pair of images was processed using the CCF "free image optimizer", while the first pair was edited in Photoshop to reduce the image size enough to allow posting. I've never used the CCF optimizer before but it certainly seems to reduce the pixilation (JPEG artifacts?) that typically show up in my resized images. I'll have to start using it more!

For Catch-All day (July 20) -- 1787 Massachusetts Half Cent:

I suppose any farthing-sized colonial copper would do for catch-all day, but this one actually says " Half Cent".

These London Elephant Tokens are sometimes also referred to as Elephant Half Pennies. This is an example of the type with a thick planchet.

This has been a great tutorial on Half Cents. I need to get busy and set up for photographing my coppers. Any suggestions or past threads to help in an economical way?

There's an entire section here on the CCF that covers all aspects of Coin Photography. I think this may be what you're looking for:
