Thanks Moe. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your coin above is not the C-4 O/o variety but rather C-2 R3. The position of the leaf tip beyond the last S in STATES needs to be almost to the O in OF. Also note the position of the lowest hair curl as it relates to the 09 in the date. The variety you do have (C-2) is a bit tougher to find, and rare above VF (yours looks VF details to me)

It is a real pleasure to check this thread everyday. Interesting run of 09's, including a rare C-1.

Apparently, today is 1811 day, too.

1811 C-2 (most common variety):

papactonius, what a beautiful coin! with nice detail and even surfaces. Quite scarce in that condition.
C-2 is relatively common at R-3, but not in a condition such as yours.
Congratulations.

Here is an example of the 1811, C-1, 'wide-date' variety. Rarity-4.

(Only 2 varieties known for this year).

Just in case you missed it, note that my 1811 C-1, is the "4-star Cud" variety.
I believe that there's a "2-star Cud" variety too.
