1882-S VAM Help. Curiosity On The Reverse

srs77 Pillar of the Community United States 3169 Posts	Posted 06/12/2015 9:59 pm I've been going back through some of my Morgans that I haven't been able to identify and started digging again. I came to this 82-S and found some interesting things. It appears as though the tail feathers were doubled, the mint mark is filled in and there maybe doubling on the date as well. I am stumped as to which one it might be as I cannot find anything on the reverse items. Any help is appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

I have a later die state in that I don't have the die file lines they speak of in the early die state. The doubling of the date is also spot on. I really appreciate it! Report this Post to the Staff
