coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/15/2015 03:56 am They are a lot harder than the 1979 differences. But here is what to look for: Note the ends of the mint marks. (the shape of the ends) This will help you. These ends are wider. Also the centers are open on the upper and lower loops on the type 2. Type ones are almost closed. 32 Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/15/2015 10:47 pm That is because there was a type 1 and 2 because they used the same mint mark punches.
