Hi,
I would like to know if these album are "safe" or not. Someone told me that it is made of PVCA a proprietary material made for uni-safe which is a form of PVC, but has this proprietary material to protect the plastic (it safe-guards it). It's intended to stabilize the plastic to prevent leeching and protect the coins. I have one here and placed a few silver 50 cents inside and it's look very nice. Your comment are welcome!
Frank.

I would avoid using that for long-term storage. They tend to turn silver coins green over time. Other cost-effective methods include 2x2 holders or Lighthouse numis albums. Hope that helps!

I prefer 2x2s and a 3 ring binder for the flexibility of how I organize things. For example, if I want to keep or 2 or 3 different varieties for a particular year. Doesn't look as nice though. See this old thread for more info https://goccf.com/t/102345

Just check that the album pages you buy are made of polypropylene or mylar, and definitely not soft PVC.

NumisCat has it correct. They are trash. I wish they didn't corrode coins because they are nice little albums.

The smell that wafts out from the pages is more than enough to keep any coin I own as far away from those albums as possible!
