Ok, doin some work again today with my recorded shows playing in the background and on the DIY Network has a show called "garage bros" where a guy has a business of cleaning out your garage, basement etc and do a light remodeling /spruce up of the area in exchange for cleaning it out & keeping what they don't dump. Anyhow I hear the word SCORE and look up. They found a coin collection in a small tub. The doofus show appraiser said $1500 for the box with $600 face value. They really didn't show much but look at that 2000 ASE, it's so worn I thought Walker at first glance!?

Oh and it aired 6-14. Episode name "Mardi Garage"

Ok back to work now

I would say its sure less then 1000. They do look very worn. And some do look green like those ike's.

Am I getting this right. These people have a show about cleaning garages and they keep whatever they want? So because I work on cars in my garage. And they come to clean/fix my garage and they find a valuable piece for my 1957 beetle they keep it? Is that right or am I missing something?

It's mostly for hoarder types with mounds of crap using their garages like storage units. They ask if there's anything in there they want to keep. Some obvious stuff like cash and what not they come across they give back like the coins. That's the premise anyway. Alot of people just want stuff gone because they need the space and don't know or care what's in there anymore. This is America after all!

I watch all picker type shows to file visual memories of items for future use. You would belive how much money I've made from info gained that way
