I thought these were silver (even the 1 and 2 penny coins)?

And it's beautifully toned! Any Maundy coins are pretty, but this one is a treat to behold.

All of my Maundy coins are toned, I am pretty leery about the blast white coins on offer.
This particular coin had a mintage of a mere 8,976 coins.

(Not one of the coins from from the 15,000 matte proof sets that were struck. They have distinctively wider rims, the result of the image the of the King being produced my mechanical reduction for 1902.

Edward V11 maundy coins years 1902 - 1908 could also be obtained through banks and other outlets, and that is why Maundy coins 1909 and after are scarcer, only being obtained through the Maundy Ceremony only.) - ref. Coincraft Cataolgue.

The 1901 fourpence and the 1902 threepence are both obviously maundy coins, because they both have distinctively sharper die strike detail. This is the easiest way to pick Maundy coins from business strikes, when it comes to examining threepences.

I think the 3d coins were the only ones minted for circulation that had the same design as the Maundy coins.
I have a 1883 set coming from the UK, Looking forward to getting these "in hand" and taking some images
