This is the oldest foreign coin I have ever found while roll hunting, 1938 Canadian cent. It is in pretty good shape too.

Very nice! My oldest foreign find is probably my 1932 Canada one cent. It is my oldest Canadian coin and all of my Canadian cents have came from change or rolls.

I found it in circulation and not in a roll but the oldest foreign I can remember was a 1927 Canadian Nickel.

Nice penny!
I found a few KG VI pennies in circulation a few years ago (42 and 48) but my oldest is a 1927 KG V canadian nickel.
Somebody on here found a Roman coin in a roll once... I don't think anyone is going to top that!

but was it real or fake? I have found a V nickel (dateless, probably 83 or 85) and 2 IHC cents from the 1880's

I have a George VI Canadian penny in my collection, but the date escapes me, and it's been there for a long time. Next one is a Canadian 1949 George VI silver 10c (do they call them dimes there?).

Not bad! At least 5-6 years ago, I found a 1903 2 Filler. My oldest foreign coin, from my native country (hungary) too! Ever since I found it, it's been on my nightstand (which is right next to me, haha). I don't know why, just haven't put it in a 2x2. I guess it's good luck.
